“Infertility 35+” — An International Scientific Platform for Reproductive Medicine Held for the Seventh Time

One of Georgia’s major international scientific events in reproductive medicine, “Infertility 35+,” was held for the seventh time this year and concluded successfully. The two-day conference brought together more than 300 physicians and 126 speakers, once again creating a space where contemporary medical knowledge, international experience, and professional collaboration converge.

The event was organized by the Georgian Association of Oncofertility, with the support of the Georgian-German Reproductive Center (GGRC), the associations of gynecologists and urologists, and the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia.

The conference’s primary objective was to share contemporary medical knowledge and international experience, strengthen professional collaboration, and encourage the greater involvement of Georgian physicians in the international scientific and professional community.

Two Days Dedicated to Knowledge, Experience, and Professional Collaboration

The two-day international scientific event took place simultaneously across three halls. The conference brought together leading Georgian and international specialists from the United States, Italy, Argentina, and other countries around the world.

The participation of international experts established “Infertility 35+” as an important platform for sharing professional knowledge and contemporary medical practices. During the event, physicians had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the field, share their experiences, and discuss current challenges in reproductive medicine.

One of the principal themes of the scientific program was contemporary approaches to infertility management after the age of 35. Discussions covered the latest diagnostic and treatment methods, important issues in clinical practice, and current trends in reproductive medicine.

The conference program combined a diverse range of scientific sessions, professional discussions, and practical meetings, allowing participants to connect theoretical knowledge with modern practical approaches.

One of the conference’s major components was a specialized hands-on workshop for embryologists.

Support for young professionals was also reflected in another important conference initiative—the poster presentation competition.

With the support of the Georgian Association of Reproductive Endocrinology, a poster presentation competition for young speakers was held as part of “Infertility 35+.” The winning student received the main prize: the opportunity to undertake a one-week internship in the IVF department of a leading clinic in Türkiye.

Experience gained in an international clinical environment represents an important professional development opportunity for emerging specialists, helping them deepen their knowledge and integrate into the international professional community.

Continuing Professional Education

Conference participants were awarded 12 UPG credits, further emphasizing the event’s educational significance.
